4 star hotel with 5 star service and location. The room is basic but good with complete amenities. Hotels need to learn to be flexible and sometimes a small generosity can go a long way. This is what FER hotel staff did. Complimentary cappuccinos and more water when we asked for it without making you feel like a criminal. Their command of English is also much better than the 5 star hotel we have moved to for 2nd leg of our trip. Personally, I think the breakfast is decent for 15euros. Not wow but again.. we didn’t expect a feast. Location is superb of course.. we walked to most of the tourist sites. Overall we think our stay had really good value for money

Can’t really fault this hotel. The staff were extraordinarily helpful - restaurant suggestions, how to use the tram etc. The location is also great, near the tram but a short walk to many of the cultural landmarks. The breakfast was a bit on the light side… but that suited. We stayed as a group of 6 for 4 days and the feedback was unanimously positive.

I stayed here for three days in late November as English/Spanish speakers. We had 2 main issues. 1. For half our stay the Air-conditioning was broken which resulted in our room being 87 F degrees (36 C) based on their thermometer. On top of that, there is no cold water with this ridiculous heat and the windows are bolted closed which can barely be opened. their response was it's broken, there is nothing we can do except wait for technician. fine but at least refund me a Portion of what I payed since this is a 4 star hotel. 2. We purchased 20 euros worth of gifts that were in our room that we dropped off shortly after being at a souvenir store. These gifts were no longer found once we returned to our Hamam spa entering our room having been cleaned. It's very likely housekeeping threw it away thinking it was trash. We brought it up to their management and offered to cover the expense if it wasn't found which I appreciated. They contacted the lady who cleaned our room who said she didn't throw away the items, not found in lost and found, and didn't ask us to cover for our expenses after texting us this information. I would have expected them to reach out during checkout or text to offer the covered money considering they had to throw it away since we traveled directly to and from the store. For pros: Nice hotel location, rooms were very nice with clean and good bathrooms except water temperature. Good shower pressure, and no noise. We did like the attentiveness and hospitality we received during our stay. If they offer compensation to both major complaints then I will gladly change my review based on a positive outcome by the hotel management.

Very nice hotel, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Despite being in the middle of the ancient city you do not hear any outside noise in your room. Like a quiet oasis in the busy city. and it is only 5 minutes walk to blue mosque and hagia sofia and the grand bazaar. only negative point for us were the very soft mattresses (matter of taste), squeaking bed and strangely positioned light switches (always switched on the wrong lights when using in the dark room). No huge points, in general this hotel is a great choice!
